The Massachusetts Safety Council

     
some facts about us:

Founded in 1918, the MA. Safety Council is a not-for-profit, non-governmental chapter of the National Safety Council. The Council is a membership organization and presently serves over 800 businesses, associations, and individual memberships throughout MA. and Rhode Island.

  • Conduct over 60 training programs through our Safety, Health & Environment (S.H.E.) Institute
     

  • Educate over 2,000 high school students each year in our alcohol education program, "Drinking, Driving & You"
     

  • Communicate the latest safety and health developments and regulations
     

  • Conduct driver improvement programs for some of New England's largest companies 
     

  • Sponsor Massachusetts' largest safety and health conference and exhibition
     

  • Participate in dozens of safety and health fairs throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island
     

  • Sponsor the Massachusetts Occupational Safety Awards Contest
     

  • Conduct a non-invasive drug prevention training program whereby supervisors and key employees are trained to be alerted to the behavioral and physical characteristics exhibited by individuals who abuse alcohol and drugs.
